Helping You Report To The Police
For many people reporting an incident to the police can seem daunting.
The Open Out scheme can help you with this process. The police will deal with each report on an individual basis so no two people's experience will be the same. We can explain anything you don't understand, from the initial report to its conclusion. We can also make the initial report on your behalf and liaise with the police officers and PCSOs involved to keep you informed during the process.

Our Local Police Force
"everyone should be allowed to live their lives free from harassment and the fear of crime. We understand the effect this type of incident can have on the victim, their families and the wider community and because we understand, it enables us to deal effectively with it and its causes." - Cambridgeshire Constabulary
"Cambridgeshire Constabulary does not tolerate hate crime, and we urge you to report all incidents. The more information we can gather, the more we know about these crimes and who commits them, the better we can work together to stamp out hate crimes." - Cambridgeshire Constabulary
