Homophobia
Homophobic Hate Crime is any criminal offence that is motivated by hostility or prejudice based on the victim's sexuality
It can take many forms, including insults, verbal abuse, bullying, assault, theft, and damage to property. Homophobia literally means a fear of homosexuality. It is treating someone differently or unfairly simply because they are or appear to be lesbian, gay or bisexual.
No one has the right to make you feel bad or abuse you. If you have experienced homophobic Hate Crime you can report it to Open Out. There are also other support organisations and groups in our area and we've listed some of them below.
